Oxalis grandis, or Great Yellow Wood Sorrel, is native to the Appalachian area of the eastern US. It is not clear if the plant is an annual or perennial, with various authorities claiming both. More information will be posted when available. It grows in moist woods, rocky bluffs, and partially shaded openings and woodland edges. It blooms in mid to late spring with large yellow flowers with an orange center.
