Tetraneuris herbacea, or Lakeside Daisy, is native to only a handful of counties in the Great Lakes area - it is known from Illinois, Michigan and Ohio, and also in Ontario - rare in all places. It is a perennial that grows in dry, sandy, limestone rocky areas. It blooms in early spring with daisy-like yellow flowers.
