Michael Kimling was bown in Östringen, Germany on June 1st, 1839. He
married Theresia Habich, who was also from Östringen, in 1865.
Östringen is located in south-east Germany in the state of
Baden-Württemberg.
At some time around 1865, they came to the US and settled in Monroe, Michigan;
along with Michael were his brothers, Matthias and Dacobet. Michael and
Teresia eventually moved to Toledo, Ohio.
They had the following children:

Frank Kimling (1870 - 1961)
Theresa Kimling (1873 - ?) - married John Peters

Anna Beatrice Kimling (1884 - 1969) - married George William Venier
