Matthäus Mahler was born in 1827 in Kirchheim am Ries and in 1859 he married Anna Maria
Wiedenmann. Together they had the following children:
Johann Friedrich Mahler (1858 - 1931)
Johann Andreas Mahler (1860 - 1862)
Johann Jakob Mahler (1863 - 1878)
Maria Katharina Mahler (1864 - 1946) - married Jacob Greiner
Georg Karl Mahler (1866 - 1867)
