Anemone canadensis, or Canada anemone, is native to the northeastern and central United States, where it occurs in moist meadows, moist prairies, swamps, streambanks, ditches and thickets. While this plant is wild in those areas, outside of the wild, it will grow in almost any soil or conditions and once established is extremely vigorous and will spread quickly.

In our yard, this grows in the Wetland.
