Asclepias asperula, or Antelope Horns, is native to the southwestern United States, where it grows in semi-desert, dry areas, like foothills and open woodlands. It is a milkweed, and the larvae of the Monarch butterfly will readily eat it.

In our yard, this grows in the Prairie Area.
