Corydalis sempervirens, or pale corydalis, is native to the northeastern third of the US, from Maryland to Georgia, as well as Montana and Alaska. It grows in disturbed areas, sometimes appearing in areas that are newly disturbed where the seeds may have waited some time for the right conditions. It usually grows in sandy areas, in open woods and clearings.
