Cypripedium montanum, or mountain lady's slipper, is native to Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Alaska. It grows in open deciduous forests where the shade is not too heavy. Unlike many of its cousins, it can have more than one flower per flower stalk.

In our yard, this grows in the Woodland Area.
