Cypripedium parviflorum, or lesser yellow lady's slipper, is native to the whole United States, but Hawaii, Lousiana, Florida and Nevada. It grows in damp forests of mixed deciduous and coniferous forests, as well as open meadows, fens and along streams in acidic soils.
