Drosera filiformis, or thread leaf sundew, is a carnivorous plant, having a sticky "dewy" substance on its long leaves, which small insects crawl across, becoming stuck and a meal for the plant. It is native to only several states on the eastern coast, where it grows in perpetually moist, sandy sites with very poor soil, as well as in bogs and fens.

In our yard, this grows in the Fen.
