Goodyera repens, or lesser rattlesnake plantain, is most of the northeastern, as well as northern midwest states and some Rocky Mountain states. Contrary to its common name, the plant is an orchid.

It grows in rich woodlands, both decidious and conifer.

In our yard, this grows in the Pineland Area.
