Lysimachia quadrifolia, or whorled loosestrife, is native to most of the eastern United States, where it can be found growing on woodland edges, in wet meadows and prairies and in ditches, it is often in wet soil, but can be found in drier areas, also.
In our yard, this grows in the Prairie.
