Monarda punctata, or spotted bee balm, is a native member of the mint family which can be found growing in the eastern and Southern, as well as into parts of the southwestern United States. It grows in open woods, fields, prairies, roadsides and along railroad tracks.
In our yard, this grows in the Prairie.
