Trillium flexipes, or Drooping Trillium, is native to the Ohio River Valley and Great Lakes Region, as well as the Appalachian Mountains, where it grows in open woodlands. There are two color variants - white, and maroon-red, which can be seen growing side by side in most patches.

In our yard, this grows in the Woodland.
